Week 2- It's All About Computer Language

Assalamualaikum & hi all! ✌

I'm back for another update! So I did learn a lot about computer language in my second week of the class. Madam Azida taught us about Computer Assisted Language Learning or known as CALL. I still remember learning this when I was in my diploma year, backkk then. Basically, CALL is all about the medium to assist students for a better learning through using the computer and internet. 

There are also progression of CALL which known as Behaviouristic CALL which involves repetitive drill and practice for the students. I found that this type of CALL is very beneficial for learning as it focuses on repetition so that they can easily remember and learn the words. It then followed by the Communicative CALL which focuses on the usage of the language. This type of CALL is good for emphasizing students' performance as it involves discussion among themselves, such as online chat that acquires them to use the language to communicate with others. Then, it is being upgraded to the latest type of CALL which is involves the real world materials into it, known as Integrated CALL. 

I learned that all of these type of CALL show that how computer and internet usage is really, really important to improve our language. Besides that, I also learned on how to create an interesting and pretty design for my blog post through the website called as Canva. It just my second week of the class, yet I did learn a lot about something that I have never discovered before, which I found it is actually really interesting!
